Doncaster has a wealth of cultural and sporting attractions for people of any age. There are also plenty of museums and galleries in and around Doncaster that are well worth a visit.

The Dome is one of the UK's top sports and leisure attractions featuring swimming facilities, a split-level ice rink, an indoor climbing wall and health and fitness facilities.

Doncaster Lakeside has a range of shops and leisure facilities. In addition to shops there are many other attractions available including a multi-screen cinema complex, a bowling alley and a numbers of fast food outlets, restaurants and pubs.

Doncaster Museum and Art Gallery is near the town centre. It tells the story of the Doncaster region using natural history, archaeology, local history, fine and decorative art.

The Regimental Museum of the Kings Own Yorkshire Light Infantry is housed in the same building and includes one of the most extensive medal collections to be exhibited in any museum in this country.
