Loo makeover for Boating Lake

Volunteers were flushed with success when new-look loos were unveiled in a Doncaster park.

Rosie officially opened the refurbished toilet block in Sandall Park – known as the Boating Lake – next to Thorne Road, Wheatley.

The £1,000 renovation was organised by The Friends of Sandall Park (FoSP) and included new air fresheners and toilet tissue dispensers.

FoSP say the toilets are essential for the running of the park.

Rosie, who represents Doncaster Central, said: “It’s important that our communities have decent public toilets and I’m grateful to the volunteers from The Friends of Sandall Park for the work they have done.”
