Rosie visited Balby Carr College to present a sports award to one of its students.
Justice Dje, 13, was named the Sky Sports Living for Sport Yorkshire & the Humber Student of the Year 2012.
Rosie said: “School sport is extremely important, not just for health and fitness, but also for teaching young people the value of teamwork and perseverance.
“I am delighted for Justice. She has done fantastically to be named Student of the Year 2012.
“I would like to offer her, and Balby Carr College, my warmest congratulations on this impressive achievement.”
