Tribute to former Doncaster MP Mick Welsh

Rosie paid tribute to former Doncaster MP Mick Welsh, who died last month.

Mr Welsh represented the area from 1979 to 1992.

Rosie told the Doncaster Star newspaper: “Mick was one of the last MPs from a mining background to represent Doncaster. His constituents were proud of how hard he worked to raise their concerns, and those of the mining industry, in Parliament and in Government.”
