Rosie addressed an all-female audience from across South Yorkshire.
She spoke to members of the Women's Institute about her role as opposition chief whip.
Her audience at the Earl of Doncaster hotel, in Bennetthorpe, was the WI’s South Yorkshire Federation, which represents all 57 branches in the county.
Rosie said: “The Women’s Institute has thousands of members across South Yorkshire, including many in Doncaster, and is an influential voice in British politics.
“The WI recently ran a campaign to save libraries, something which has been a big issue here in Doncaster.”
