The Linney Centre Celebrates 20 Year Anniversary

The Linney Centre invited Dame Rosie Winterton to join them in celebrating their 20th anniversary since Rosie first performed the opening ceremony for the communitycare centre in 1998. 

Dame Rosie Winterton said “Twenty years on The Linney Centre is still providing a vital service for local people and I am delighted to have been invited to join them in their celebration. I know that the Community Care Centre workers here do an excellent job, working in partnership with health and social care services to improve the general health and wellbeing of service users and members of the centre and within the community.”

Amongst the many community group activities throughout the week at the Linney Centre are Community Therapy, Bingo, Exercise Class, Knit & Natter Group, Art Group, Computer Group and a Foot Clinic.
