The Sand House was a prominent feature in Doncaster from 1850s until the Second World War, a mansion sized dwelling carved from solid sandstone by Victorian businessman Henry Senior, together with intricately carved tunnels. The Sand House charity has been set up to promote this lost heritage and educational resource.
