As part of National Care Home Open Day, Cantley Grange Care Home in Doncaster invited Dame Rosie Winterton to their coffee morning and joined with residents and staff for cake and coffee in the lounge.

Care Home Open Day is about opening the door to the community, making new friendships and bringing together local people.  In its sixth year at its heart it is about friendship, making connections and celebrating older and vulnerable people.

Dame Rosie Winterton said “Having a national open day is a great way to encourage people to get to know about the care home in their community, and meet some of the unique, intelligent and interesting people who live there and the very special people who care for them.  I was delighted to be invited by Cantley Grange to meet with residents and staff at their coffee morning.”
