Ed Miliband and Rosie Winterton joined members of Stainforth Outreach – who organised the event to raise cash for the Guide Dogs for the Blind Association – for a two-mile trek around Lakeside.
Guide dogs Flynn and Keene, and members of the association, also took part.
Rosie Winterton, the MP for Doncaster Central, said: “Guide dogs change the lives of people with sight loss, but training a guide dog takes time and it costs £50,000 to train and care for a guide dog throughout its working life, which is why fundraising events like this are so important.”
