Doncaster people have generously donated over 4 miles of scarves to help Doncaster Cancer Detection Trust raise funds for new scanning facilities and a treatment suite for radiotherapy at the Doncaster Royal Infirmary.  The scarves have been displayed recently in the Frenchgate Shopping Centre and Rosie purchased the first scarf from their stand.

Pictured with Rosie are with Jeanette Fish, Yvonne Woodcock and Ruth Beacon at their stand.

DCDT sold over half a mile of scarves raising £545.  There will be an auction later in the year of the scarves that were autographed, including one by Leigh Francis - aka Keith Lemon.  300 have been given to Aurora for people with Chemotherapy, winter scarves have been donated to M25 for homeless people, and fashion students from Doncaster College have taken some of the larger scarves to make garments.

Well done to all the volunteers at DCDT and thank you for all their hard work.
