Rosie was at the Department for Work and Pensions as Pensions Minister from October 2008 - June 2009. As Minister Rosie helped to oversee the consultation on Preparing for an Ageing Society which aimed to see what more can be done to enable people to make the most of the opportunities that will be created by an ageing population. It also looked at how services, opportunities and information will need to change to respond to the needs and aspirations of people as they grow older.
